Mitte
In Berlin Mitte, the historic centre of the capital, guests will find all the important sights. A walk along the street Unter den Linden leads past the Berlin Cathedral and the Lustgarten, just behind it stands the Altes Museum, a few steps away visitors reach the German Historical Museum in the Zeughaus (Arsenal), followed by the important Humboldt University. On the other side of the street is the State Opera House and Bebelplatz with its monument to the burning of books. However, Mitte is more than the historical heart of Berlin. Berliners and tourists alike shop in Friedrichstrasse, for example at Lafayett or Cos and other popular fashion labels. Restaurants can be found around the Gendarmenmarkt, especially the famous Borchardts. For holidays that do not know Berlin well yet, we recommend a holiday accommodation in Mitte.

Prenzlauer Berg - Friedrichshain
Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is the neighboring district of Mitte. Today, the backyards on Kastanienallee, for example, are home to attractive apartments. In Prenzlauer Berg, good earners from the media industry live around Kollwitz Platz with the water tower. For this reason there are many good restaurants, boutiques, expensive shops for the upscale shopping needs. The Pfefferberg restaurant has been around for over 100 years.
Berlin Friedrichshain is the young district east of Mitte, with many clubs, bars and space for creative people. Techno can be found in the Kater Holzig and the ELSE Club. Sophisticated dance performances can be found in the Radialsystem directly on the Spree. In the popular Volkspark Friedrichshain the open-air cinema Friedrichshain delights Berliners and guests from May to September. The popular flea market takes place on Boxhagener Platz every Sunday.
