The tasteful and high quality furnished apartment is located on the mezzanine floor (not visible) in the freshly renovated rear building and has direct access to the large garden. It is very bright and quiet and equipped with modern and antique furniture. The apartment has two rooms, a well fitted kitchenette and a bathroom with a large bathtub and laundry facilities.
The kitchen includes: 4-stove with oven, fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner.
The kitchen is equipped with a sofa bed which turns into to a (2m x 1.40 m) double bed and a dining table with 4 chairs. The room can be used as a purely residential kitchen.
The 2nd Bedroom has a large closet and a double bed (200 * 180). If desired, this could be made into 2 single beds (200 * 90). This room leads onto a private balcony that overlooks a garden. The balcony has a table with two chairs.
The apartment has a telephone (landline calls free), an Internet connection (free user), a television with DVD player, radio recorder CD part and an alarm clock.
The apartment is located to the rear of the building with direct access to a large 1000 m2 garden. From here the building leasds directly to Brunnenstrasse or ‚gallery mile’. where you will find Bernauer Strasse, with its Berlin Wall Documentation Centre, the East Side Park, with it’s hip, huge flea market and the idyllic Arkonaplatz. Only a few minutes walk away Zionskirchplatz and Chesnut Avenue, with its countless cafes, restaurants and bars and this area is one of the most attractive in the capital. The U-Bahn station, Bernauer Strasse, (U8, tram 10) is located just a few minutes walk from the apartment. This is an ideal location for any sightseeing in the city. The government district and the historic centre that encompasses the Museum Island, Brandenburg Gate, Gendarmenmarkt and Unter den Linden are all located within a radius of 1.5 kilometers.
Interesting for families with children: Very close to the apartment you can find many playgrounds for kids of every age and a paddling and outdoor pool in the park named Humboldthain. Also, close to the apartment there is our reception and bar. Here you can easily check in and out, hire bikes or simply soak up the atmosphere and enjoy your time in our little bar. Our guests have the opportunity to get 10 % discount on our bike rental.
