The nearest underground stop is line U1 "Schlesisches Tor", about four blocks away.
You can reach Berlin "Mitte" by the bus 147.
Upon arrival it is a good idea to take the train to "Ostbahnhof", about 2 km away.
A nice, quiet and sunny one-room apartment, complete with a big, comfortable kitchen/living room with a balcony overlooking Heckmannufer. The apartment is tastefully furnished and offers everything a person needs for a pleasant holiday in exciting and hip Kreuzberg.
The apartment is located on the first floor in a well-proportioned, tastefully planted yard which does not make the apartment dark in any way. The building itself was built around the turn of the last century, its walls are 3,60 m high which was typical for that era.
Heckmannufer is a street that is closed off to traffic. The "Landwehrkanal" is across the street from the house. Treptower Park, the "Freischwimmer" and the Visioners' Club are just around the corner. The river Spree with its floating ship "Badeschiff" is quite nearby.
